Home Group Meetings

Rock Church of Lancaster County started meeting within the home of our pastors and we continue that foundation with Friday Home Group. The First and Third Friday (March-November) pending weather, we meet at Pastors Robert and Rachel’s home in Bart Township. This is a time for fellowship, open discussion of the word, and a deeper dive of what God is showing all of us. The first Friday in December is the annual open house Christmas dinner in the pastors home.

A Can, Can Make A Difference

A Can, Can Make a Difference was originally started by Rock Church Founder, Bishop John Gimenez. Today that vision and mission continues throughout Rock Churches around the word by supplying literal tons of essential food to our communities. We give the collected foods to local families in need and any excess to Solanco Neighborhood Ministries in Quarryville. Rock Church is blessed to partner with them in continuing the vision that the church supply the needs of the community!

Children’s Ministry

We view our children’s ministry through the same lens as Jesus spoke in Mark 10: 13-16 and seen in Joshua 8:35. The word show us the power and blessing of unity and part of that for this house is keeping the children of all ages, in the same service as the parents. This also allows parents to have deeper conversations about God with their kids as well as the opportunity for the kids to see their parents worship and learn too. Children will be children and there is no expectation they sit still for the entire service. There is a move of God in this country and the kids deserve and need to be taught to have their own relationship with Jesus! Community Hymn Sing

Rock Church started hosting a community hymn sing in 2023 as a way to connect and share the Gospel. Hymns are apart of church history and a great way for all generations to come together and worship! Rock Church invites and welcomes all of the local churches to be involved in playing, singing, and just coming out in unity. Currently, we hosts one in June each year but we look to hosting additional in the future.

The Solanco Fair is an institution in the area and Rock Church is grateful to host a booth within it. We use this as an opportunity not focused on promoting Rock Church but bringing prayer to the fair. We also bring bibles to giveaway as well as various items for kids and adults. This is one of our favorite dates of the year and though it is a long three days, the blessing to pray with soo many who need it is well worth it!
