What powerful words we read in verse 37 of Psalm 119. “Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things…” The Psalmist isn’t simply asking for help but giving the Lord the permission to reposition his vision away from vain things. Not just turn them but reposition to godly ways that bring life and purpose.
We are inundated with garbage everywhere and sometimes it seems there is no escape. In our strength and understanding there is no way out, but God! When we seek the Almighty in our path and give Him permission to reset our vision, then worthless things won’t be placed before us. How do I know that? Simply that what the Lord does always has value.
What things God places value on is not dependent on our understanding or perception of it. It is not like the gold or silver market, and certainly not like Bitcoin. What God value does not ebb and flow with the market of the word system. Like all things of the Lord, it is consistent and just. With this, you are more valuable than gold, silver, rubies and yes, even Bitcoin.
God has deemed you so precious that He sent His son for you, not to condemn but to bring everlasting life! When people say you are useless, it hurts but don’t place value in those harsh words. Remind yourself on who God says you are.
